Yes, but ask them exactly what they are going to do to it.

When I was in college, I took my '59 Alfa Romeo Spyder Veloce in to a
muffler shop and they boogered it up. I thought they would resurrect the
flange that connected to the output of one of the headers, but no, they
cut the mating flange on the header off and welded a pipe to the header.
Made it kind of hard to get the header off because you have to separate
the header from the muffler and the other header to do that. That, and
they put in two mufflers, one for each header. It turned out the much of
the noise cancellation was from piping the output of both headers
together, and then to the muffler.

Ask first!
