For the one example I know about, the stock headlights in my '95 W202 C280 used H-4 (100/160W) bulbs producing the Euro beam pattern with the low beam sharp cutoff which is the same beam pattern my 2008 C300's Bi-Xenon low beams have. And the old Cibie Z-Beams in my Porsche with JC Whitney 100/160W H-4s (four relays) have the exact same pattern.
