I'm surprised u have had this with michilins  they have been great on
all cars and they make the only tire that will hold up on the limos.
my yokikihamma experience is the same as yours.  my benz started with
a set of low mileage yokis' which drove like they had slipped belts
from day one.  drove for 20k and than replaced with some michilins
world of difference like driving a new car.
