We had a 82 Izusu I-Mark 2 dr sedan - between 40 & 50 mpg *all* the time. Started instantly even in cold weather and had a non-interference engine so a belt failure didn't destroy the engine. Plus, with lots of torque & a 5-speed it was ideal to teach my daughter how to drive a stick.

Sincerely,

The Isuzu diesels in them have a reputation for running just about
forever, often outliving the body. (Just like our Mercedes Benzes.)
