I am checking it out on e-Bay. @ $60 for a matched 2 x 2 GB for this one [optimal according to the manual]. Any reason I couldn't use 4 x 1GB instead? 2GB DDR2 PC2-4300 is what is called for, but I see a lot of DDR2 PC-5300's out there. I assume they are newer model chips, but would they work OK in my older machine? Bill R

You need multiple cores and/or multiple processors for speech recognition to work smoothly.
