Well I have thought about that. A stick 240D is as solid and dependable as you 
can get. Maybe I will be tired of the 300CD by the ChowdaQ.

And I flogged it 110 miles a day most of the summer and fall until the 190D 
came on line. Just took it to my in-laws this evening, it sat all week and 
fired right up no issue.

I'll trade it for your 300CD anytime you want! ;)

I hear you about the  240D-all jokes aside -I pounded my 79 between South
County RI and Boston -mostly on I 95 for about 7 years-300-500 miles a week.
I miss that car.
