Twice on a VW and once on a Dodge Caravan. I suspect this is because of cost-cutting on the part of the glass shop in choice of gasket. I'm going to be replacing the window gaskets (front and rear) on my W116. I'm tempted to order gaskets from Rusty and then have a shop do it so that if the glass breaks it's their liability not mine. Or is this an easy enough DIY job? One reason I'd like to do it myself is so that I can be sure that any rust under the gasket is addressed before reinstalling.
