And recharge it in the car to have another Diesel-electric in the manner of
my scooter; the gas engines would sound better, though. BTW, my scooter is
so quiet, 'been thinking I'd mount a playing card to rub against a tire
tread to make a "put, put, put" sound a la card-and-bicycle spokes.

I still say cheap drills and a small gell cell from a car booster is better
than 4 trimmer engines and their needed gas + carb balance + etc. And you
could call it a Human Power Plug-in Hybrid and likely get a tax credit as
well! ;)
