A new Prius around here is approaching $30K.  I am told they no longer ship
the low end models because the dealers don't want them.  I was looking at
2007-2009, and for one with leather and a navigation system $18K was about
right.  I just didn't want to spend that much, especially when most of my
driving is optional.

That's what I thought normal price was.
I have heard the adv for several weeks.
I think it was Gartner here in ChiTownArea.
I hear the adv while I work - WXRT is the work music at my desk.
I will need to pay attention - perhaps that is a down payment... but I
would think an adv would need to clearly state that outright.  I don't
recall the word down payment.
