Howdy! Just changed the Serpentine Belt on my 91 300D 2.5T today - It had approximately 61,000 miles of normal back and forth to work driving - about 60 mi RT - mix of few stop signs and numerous stops per mile.
The underside of the old belt had numerous cracks in the ribbed section. It would have likely lasted another 10,000 miles or so but now I know we're safe. Just wanted to let you know this in case you are over 60,000 miles on your present belt - should probably check your belt/s.
