Scarce turbodiesel. 242K, odometer broken. Probably 245k. Got a chip in
the windshield , and it suddenly started smoking a bit with reduced
power. Filters, etc. ok. I'd dig into it, but I run Mercedes diesels now.
Maybe pump timing? Car is restorable or good for parts. Minor rust,
dings Paint & rubber fair. Synthetic lube throughout, doesn't leak or
burn oil.
I got 30mpg on 50% biodiesel, 32 on petrodiesel. Peppy car, nice to
drive. Slick ZF tranny. Was great for my old, long commute. Classic
project car.
