Then get a shop to pull out whatever is in there, put a vacuum on it and back home recharge with this stuff? Seems easy enough.
I would not leave a vacuum on it for very long, nature abhors such things you know.
Don't convert it to anything, just recharge it with an R12 compatible substance and enjoy!
