Maybe around 30+ years ago I repaired mine with Krazy glue. Showed it to my orthodontist during the next visit. He said it looked good and I kept using it. Clean it with 90% isopropyl, let it dry, hold it together, and capillary action will suck the adhesive into the crack. Use a freshly opened tube. If it's a little off he can fine-tune it or advise you to pitch it.
