That would preclude working under a car entirely, wouldn't it? ;) We all makes our choices and takes our chances. I can't afford a lift, so I work under cars using multiple redundant safety systems---high-quality jackstands, scrap wood, wheels, a cell phone at hand so I can call for help if trapped, and asking someone to check on me periodically.
