At some of the outlying stops. Problem is that they fill up with commuters, but you can check. Metro is easy and pretty quick to get into the mall or other areas. The kids would love the Natural History museum, lots of dinosaurs and other creatures on display. Kleb would probably like the one with all the old mechanical stuff (it is the really old castle looking building on the mall, forget what it is called). Don't forget to stop in and say hi to Barky, though he might still be in Chitown raising money.
