On your Main entry panel you have a Master breaker . Have your
electrician
replace this with a double throw breaker [come to the electrical supply
house, bring money. For a 200 amp service expect to pay above $800 for
one.].
That, in essence is what I wanted but didn't get out there,
there's only a meter. I _have_ a gigantic 400A Westinghouse
knife switch in a box, old surplus, and some 200A transfer
switches, also surplus. I know that physically I could flange
it up somehow, but 'code' would be a different animal.
All I really need is a DPDT "Throw-the-switch-Igor" knife switch
out there!
