Do to damage during transport I had to replace the sunroof skin on my 300SD. A new skin wasn't that expensive, maybe $150 if that much from the dealer.
I suspect the W123 equivalent would be cheaper. And the dealer had it the next day. Swapping the parts over was not a big deal, either.
