Check the hoses to the fuel heater in the heater hose line at the
rear of the driver's side.
If you have not replaced the fuel lines, this would be a good time to
do so.

Getting into the 87 300D this morning, I noticed distinct aroma
of Diesel fuel; 'appears to be dripping from between IP and
engine near rear of IP. Cursory look around injectors and
injector lines above the area did not reveal anything else yet;
'check again with flashlight this afternoon. Any suggestions
other than, "Stop the leak?"
