I use good old 80% isopropyl rubbing alcohol, just douse anything
except the screen, fans, and harddrive with it, clean with paper
towels / qtips / lint free cleaning cloth / etc, then blow-dry with
the hair dryer on medium heat. Make sure there's no "Ion Shine" or
"de-frizzer" crap enabled on the blow dryer, they be bad juju for
this!

The alcohol is an approved cleaner for most (not all, but most, and
the exotic stuff likely isn't iin a fruitputer anyways) electronics
components, and it won't harm conformal coat or solder masking.
