30 years ago the normal Min bill at a stealer was $500. Factor in
inflation and it is considerable more.
Take a shop rate of $130 at the indy, and say the transmission was
KO'd. A new transmission and a few hours and $1000 is not
unreasonable. Stealer would have probably been $1500 or $2000.
