  Putting them back together. Exhibit A - AKP-Wagen dash board.  Difficulty of

4 is USA; presumably all the '1' combinations have been used up. 
(Heartwarming in a way - at least something is still manufactured here.) 
  Alabama-built M-Klasse have '4' VINs.
