Pretty much standard to remove lines since they are always in the way. Make sure you cap the IP delivery valves as well as injector so no gunk gets in. I use the fingers from rubber gloves. Put the lines back when you are through and then leave the injector side a little loose so they bleed off air while you either pump or crank.
