Today I took the 190D for the 80 mile round trip drive to work. The first
couple miles were pretty dicy, above about 2500rpm there was no power and there
wasn't power enough in 4th gear to move the car so I was stuck at about 30mph.
After about 4 miles though things started picking up. I fueled up and with the
fresh fuel things got noticably better. About 20 miles out I switch highways
and that merge was actually pretty good. I took the whole 40 miles in 4th gear
to keep the rpms up and get things cooking good. The temp needle did appear to
come off the peg but it didn't appear to go anywhere productive, a thermostat
goes on the list.

I would love to have more grill badges... If Rusty and Co. paid for a
grill badge, I would gladly advertise for him on the trip with whatever
magnet thing he wants to stick on my car!
