Replaced the lower control arm rubber and steel bushing bits-n-bobs plus the brake backing plates yesterday and today. Thanks Rusty! I'm a little bummed that my 250Kmi+ rear wheel bearings had to be destroyed to put on the brake backing plates. Upon inspection they were perfect until forcibly separated. The actual plates were okay, but the parking brake mounting part was corroded/rotten allowing the shoes to wander about in their space, whatta drag.
The car now steers straight and doesn't sashay to the right at every shift.
Now I need a long rest, anyone seen any, prefer a long slender blue one.
Klatta on!
