Unless you are looking to extend the drains, it probably wouldn't be much help in a 240D. I see more benefit with some of the later models where head gasket failure or cracked heads are somewhat common. The oil analysis can help you determine if coolant is making it into the oil and if it is, how much, and if it is increasing.
