In putting a new E320 water pump on, I thought I ought to use something to help seal the pump-to-block o-ring connection. In looking at past emails, I saw that Hylomar HPF was highly recommended. I looked on the web for it and found that it's no longer available as Hylomar HPF from Permatex, and that Hylomar Advanced Formula is the equivalent. AutoZone has all kinds of Permatex stuff, but since NAPA wasn't open yesterday, I don't know what they carry; I'll look there tomorrow. If they don't have it, I'll have to order it from the web.
