I scored a nice Thinkpad T61 on fleaBay and would like to replace the
old, slow internal HD with an SSD. Size isn't as important as speed,
low power consumption, and reliability. Looking at Newegg, prices are
all over the map. How come a 60 Gb OCZ is $55.99 after rebate

while an Intel model of the same size is twice as much?

Do you get what you pay for with these things? Am I comparing apples
to oranges? I'm familiar with comparing hard drives by seek time and
cache size, but I don't know what I'm looking for here. Help!

Alex
