My wife makes wonderful ice cream with a KitchenAid stand mixer attachment. The last time she asked what flavor I wanted, I requested green tea, made with some bulk tea from my favorite Chinese restaurant. It was astonishingly good!
More on topic: I have a cousin Mario who makes wonderful gelato: http://www.amatogelato.com/index.html I don't know if he makes black licorice, but he makes quite a few flavors. In the past he has made Champagne and even Viagra flavored gelato (I don't think this was naturally flavored!). Durian is a staple in his shop, that's the one that has a lid over the container to contain the odor.
