The W204 comes with ordinary yellow bulbs in the rear turn lights or with red LEDs if the lighting package is ordered. My C300 had the red rear LEDs which I have changed to the Euro yellow LED versions because I know they are more visible. I've seen all versions and the LEDs , red or yellow, are far more visible under all conditions and are impossible to miss. Far safer and the LED flasher rate is more rapid. Nothing to do with energy saving, for crying out loud.
