Note: I've realized one thing which may be making this search a problem, other than bein' on the lookout for the sleazeball scammers out there, if I've got my facts correct M-B imported the 300TD Turbodiesel in '84 & '85 to the USA and, according to the Nitske book, the production numbers for '84 were 4,739 and for '85 were 3,713 and I don't think all these were imported to the USA. so there probably aren't many examples available.
