According to the genealogy stuff my father did years ago (it's a hobby of his),
he traced our family back to England and eventually to the Seven Oaks family.
Outside of London, there is still a castle and a family named Seven Oaks.
According to his research, John Of Seven Oaks is a direct ancestor. The name
morphed into Snoaks, then into Snook.
