If you were at the Q you know I had some trouble with my 240D. It consumes a little coolant which I think is a headgasket leak out the block. It had been just bubbling a little but seems to have gotten worse. Anyway I screwed up and let it run low and things got a little dicy on the ride down, the ride back was fine although I took it slow just to be sure.
Anyway while I was at the Q I managed to break the hood latch pull. In messing with it yesterday I realized about half the problem is the plastic baby buggy bumper that the latch hits when the hood is closed is missing. That allowed the metal to chew up a little and grab the latch as I tried to open it.
