Well, cosidering selling if there is any interest. About 160K miles,
doesn't start well in cold, runs and shifts OK, vacuum leak renders door
locks inoperative, minor body rough spots, may be worth restoring. Any
interest?

Hmm, I don't even see any specific mention of wheel corrosion on there...
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but if I'm reading what seems to be
their main reason which is the entire first paragraph is essentially becaus=
e
air is evil and destroying your tires (or as they put it: "Oxygen, on the
other hand, is immensely destructive to rubber" and " This same process
occurs in tires inflated with air as the oxygen attacks the rubber
molecules,". Hmm, well ok, let's say I bought 200K mile warrantied tires
and only put 5K miles on them a year and was going to keep the car forever.
Ok, then yeah it would be nice if the tires didn't dry-rot after 20 years
(assuming that this evil air was what was causing the dry rot and not thing=
s
like UV rays), I would still rather question how I would be intended to
drive down the road or park the car until I get my "nitrogen chamber" to
keep all that evil air that the outsides of the tire would be exposed to...

No flames intended, I'm just finding that page rather funny until someone
fills me in on the part I'm missing... (:
