Oops, I only looked at the dash and wheels, didn't look at the exterior pics of W126 nature. I suppose I should have figured out it wasn't a 116 dash, I did notice it was different from my 1979.
If a W126 is really a 1980 model, it was not US spec when new. Our 1980 S class was the W116 chassis.
