39 years ago today, a milestone in cinematic history was released:

SWMBO never could figger that movie out. I love it, especially Alex Karras.
After watching Apollo 13 about a dozen times, she finally figgered
that one out.
"Life and time of Judge Roy Bean" is another movie of about that
vintage that is funny, and actually has some foundation (however
shaky) in history.
