Hi all,
I just purchased a 2004 E320 4matic silver with 76K ($11,000). It was
from an estate sale and appears to be well taken care of by it's previous 91
year old owner (my mechanic checked it out too). I live just north of New York
City in Westchester County and the 4matic got it's first test yesterday (2 days
after I picked up the car) during a blizzard.
The car handled well but I want to change the tires. It currently has a brand
called "Republic" which I never heard of. I know it as been a topic which has
been beaten to death but I wanted to get the latest opinions. My research
has narrowed the choice down to 3 tires: ContinentalExtreme Contact DWS,
Goodyear Comfort Tred and Michelin Primacy MXV4. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!
Please let me know your opinions on the car good and bad.............I know
it's a little late for the bad but I can take it!
