My wife got a call this a.m. from someone claiming to be our grandson; this person claimed to be in jail in Mexico after a fatal traffic wreck where cops found weed in the car. The caller sounded like our grandson so alarm bells did not go off immediately. But the kid (caller) was light on details (like his name) so she decoded the scam pretty quick. But I suspect several older folks have been victimized by this scam. Beware.
