So....my 240D's temp indicator gets up to around 60 degrees C and gets no higher. Then, while at speed on the freeway, it will fluctuate between 40 and 60 degrees C. The engine seems/feels to be at the expected temp (need to get a trump gun). Now, mind you, the indicator had been flicking around previously so I disconnected and cleaned the contacts on the cluster. Now it flickers not but will not go above 60 C.
