Every US bound model from the 240D to 380SEL in both '81 & '82 had this speedo Federally required! Interesting car though. One of my Mercedes books has a pic of a W126 AMG sedan, in the same monotone white! I think I prefer the look of the 4-door with the AMG body kit over the coupe myself.
