I was thinking something like a small clear hose from the hardware store mated to a small funnel, that'd allow the angle with no issue.
I was also wondering how small the drain is, if its not too small maybe you could sleeve it with a hose like that... -Curt Date: Sat, 6 Jul 2013 13:27:27 -0400 (EDT) From: Robert Koziak <rkmerce...@aol.com> To: mercedes@okiebenz.com Subject: Re: [MBZ] 2004 E320 4matic - Water on Front Passenger's Side after Heavy Rain Message-ID: <8d0488537b5dcd2-630-89...@webmail-vm020.sysops.aol.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Great idea! I can see the drain from above but it's at an awkward angle. I will try to figure out something and report back. -----Original Message----- From: Curt Raymond <curtlud...@yahoo.com> To: Diesel List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Sent: Sat, Jul 6, 2013 1:12 pm Subject: Re: [MBZ] 2004 E320 4matic - Water on Front Passenger's Side after Heavy Rain Can you see the drain from above? Could you take a funnel with a hose and run it down into the drain? If you poured a gallon of water down the drain and it ended up in the car you'd know the drain was the problem, no other troubleshooting required. As Jim said the seal doesn't seal the car, so yeah its normal to have water down the drains all the time. -Curt _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
