Yes. Sorry for the late reply. I did the job on Gump and the stalk stayed put. I have a trio of stalks that are almost tight, but slip at times. A tiny filing at the ends and the middle stops to make it more defined will help. Just be careful to not go too far, as then the stalk gets stuck
