No, but you do need to specify which one - the 2012 and later or the earlier ones - complete re-design for 2012.
IIRC, you can get the TDI with either a normal auto tranny or the DSG dual clutch tranny. IMHO, the DSG is just too cool. Really like mine. I wouldn't say it is stunning - I'd say it's OK.
