Lately, I've been fantasizing about dropping a chipped and modified tdi into an '81 Scirocco...or a '75 or '76 VW/Porsche 914. I don't think I'd bother owning an NA VW diesel anymore, if only for that incessant intake drone that could drive you batty at freeway speeds.
