Peter - Just wanted to thank you for the great diagnosis you made - you were exactly correct! Replaced the OPR and things are back to normal - especially appreciated in these 90F+/95%RH days when the AC dropped out!

BTW, the obvious things affected were the ABS, tacho and AC - are there anythings the bad OPR would affect that wasn't so obvious?

Thanks again - can't imagine how much a shop might have charged! They have trouble with intermittent problems anyway - all is well in the land of the 91 300D ;-)

Replace the Overvoltage Protection Relay, this is the usual cause of all those things.

It may be as simple as the fuse on top of the relay being cracked, or the solder at the relay connections, but sometimes they are just bad.
