You can definitely get plain blank filler DIN panels. People who strip their cars of unnecessary weight for racing, or replace a factory double-DIN stereo with an aftermarket single-DIN one, use them. Then cut your own holes with a plumber's hole saw. Most aftermarket gauges i've seen are a standard size. 1 3/8" IIRC.
