W201 (and 124 I believe) don't use engine generated vacuum for door locking so you could ignore the lack of central locking when troubleshooting slow shutdown and those issues.
For central locking pay attention to the vacuum pump under the back seat. I have one from an '85 190D if you need it. I saved it to use on my '84 but its wrong for that car. -Curt Date: Tue, 10 Dec 2013 21:27:40 -0800 From: Alex Chamberlain <apchamberl...@gmail.com> To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Subject: Re: [MBZ] bought the 1987 190D 2.5, a few issues Message-ID: <CABHyH=ZTvVf=ZfJYRkFbppWwm2H7k1S=oth4qjfoew2yq4p...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 On Tue, Dec 10, 2013 at 7:53 PM, Kevin Allen Kraly <kevinpadd...@gmail.com>wrote: > It needs some vacuum troubleshooting since it shuts off slow and, of > course, the shifting situation or lack thereof.
