Subject: [MBZ] OT Credit card fraud

It seems I was just the victim of credit card fraud. I logged into my capital one cash rewards account this morning to pay my bill and discovered some pending charges I did not make, about $200 worth over the last couple of days to a couple of different online video game websites. First thought kid got in my wallet and stole number, but he does not play video games and that just does not make sense. Last time I used this particular card was to pay a parking ticket online I received while in New Orleans over thanksgiving, paid that 12/26. Before that used it at a movie theater and restaurant earlier in the month. So I can't figure how somebody got the number. Maybe the NOLA website got hacked. A call to cap 1, charges will be credit back, new card on the way. I thank god it was a credit card and not a debit card, because if somebody gets ahold of your debit card, they can drain your bank and not much you can do about it. With a credit card, you have fraud protection. I am in the process of running all charges thru credit cards and doing away with using debit card. I have never been hit on it before, but I sure dont want to have a first time.
