I've tried to sell a few things on craigslist. Even though I put in bold print at the bottom of the listing " local sale only . no overseas sales, no cashiers checks, no scams, I'm on to all of them " The only responses I got were an endless string of jerks trying to pull the nigerian cashiers check scam filling my email box . i was beginning to wonder if anybody actually looked for anything on craigslist ( and I had some nice stuff listed at giveaway prices) I ended up listing in local paper for a bunch more and selling them.Go figure.

Yes. Sold a pair of snow tires on 124 wheels that I'd been trying to get rid of for 15 years. Of course, the price had something to do with it and the condition of sale was buyer picks up.
