I need an older laptop to run some software that requires a serial port (no, it won't work with an adapter, I tried.)
If anyone has an old laptop running XP with a USB port, serial port, and 1GB (or more) of RAM that they want to unload, drop me a private note. Doesn't have to be pretty or have a good battery - just be functional on AC and have the requirements above. I've tried CL without success. A few things on there, but no responses from the sellers.
