FYI Sun Valley must be a volume operation. the rebuilt transmission and torque converter are on their way back to my car. I asked if it was the same transmission and torque converter and he said yes, they open the torque converter, check the bearing, adjust tolerances and put (weld?) it back together, then bolt the same one up to the same transmission. this seems like less than 24 hour turnaround.
